Ferris E. George, Jr. MD FACC
Dr. George was born in Washington DC. He attended Georgia Southern University where he majored in Chemistry; graduating Magna Cum Laude. He received his medical degree from Medical College of Georgia, School of Medicine in 1986. After graduating from Medical School he completed his residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Florida Health Science Center in 1989. After completing a Fellowship in Cardiology in 1992, he opened his private practice. He lives with his wife in St Augustine and they have 3 grown daughters. He has served as president of the First Coast Health Alliance for the past 2 years. and sits on the board of Flagler Health + He has been trained and received certification from Johns Hopkins in the interpretation of Cardiac CT images.
Dr. George is an invasive cardiologist who is board certified in Cardiovascular Disease and licensed to practice in the state of Florida. He is a Fellow of American College of Cardiology, The American Medical Association and served as a delegate to the Florida Association. He is on the medical staff at Flagler Hospital, where he has served as President of the Medical Staff and Chief of Staff. He also serves as a Principal Investigator for numerous cardiovascular research projects focusing on the advancements in the care of patients and cardiovascular technology.
Dr. George limits his practice to diagnosing and treatment of cardiovascular disease.
Robert N. Signor, Jr. MD FACC
Dr. Signor has over 30 years of cardiovascular experience. After graduating from the Siena College in Londonville, New York with a B.S. Degree. He attended Free University of Brussels graduating with his medical degree in 1978. Upon moving to Florida with his family in the early 1980’s he was in private practice. In 1994 he and Dr. George formed a partnership establishing St. Augustine Cardiology. Dr. Signor is Board Certified in Nuclear Cardiology, Cardiovascular Disease and Internal Medicine. He is certified as a diplomate in Adult Transthoracic Echocardiography by the National Board of Echocardiography. He is a member of the American Medical Association and a Fellow of American College of Cardiology.
Dr. Signor specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of Cardiovascular Disease, including all aspect of cardiovascular care. In addition to his private practice he is on staff at Flagler Hospital where he has served as President of the Medical Staff, Chief of Staff and Chief of Medicine. He currently serves as a sub-investigator in numerous cardiovascular studies.
Dr. Signor is fluent in French and enjoys golfing in his time off.
Madelyn Pellicer, APRN, FNP-C
Madelyn Pellicer is a board certified advanced registered nurse practitioner (ARNP) by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP)
Ms. Pellicer completed her Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences at the University of North Florida, Bachelor of Science in Nursing at ECPI University, and graduated with honors from the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences with a Master of Science in Nursing-Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP).
Prior to becoming an advanced registered nurse practitioner, Ms. Pellicer practiced as a cardiovascular care nurse and specialized in caring for patients with cardiothoracic and structural heart procedures. Ms. Pellicer is an active member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and American Nurses Association. Ms. Pellicer is passionate about treating and preventing cardiovascular disease in her patients and helping improve their cardiovascular health.
Ms. Pellicer lives in St. Augustine and enjoys spending time on the water with her husband, 2 children, and 3 rescue dogs.
Eric Albert, FNP-BC
Eric Albert, FNP-BC, is a broad-certified nurse practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center. Mr. Albert completed his Associate of Science in Nursing at the Cochran School of Nursing in Yonkers, NY. He completed his Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Grand Canyon University. He then graduated from the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences with a Master of Science in Nursing-Family Nurse Practitioner.
Eric started his career as a critical care paramedic in the neonatal ICU and the emergency response system for New York City and surrounding areas. Mr. Albert spent his bedside nursing career as a nursing supervisor and clinical nurse educator in the emergency department. Before joining St. Augustine Cardiology, Mr. Albert proudly serviced the Jacksonville and St. Augustine communities as a nurse practitioner specializing in cardiology since 2020. He focuses on patient-centered care, utilizing evidence-based practices to prevent and treat cardiovascular disease, and building a trusting relationship with patients and their loved ones. He emphasizes lifestyle modifications in addition to pharmaceutical therapies as part of treatment plans and to optimize overall health.
He and his wife have three children and two dogs. Mr. Albert spends his spare time kayaking, mountain biking, playing pickleball, exercising, and going to the movies. He has a passion for cooking, eating food from around the world and has more BBQ smokers than outdoor space. Maintaining a healthy work-life balance is essential to him, so he makes it a priority to laugh, relax, and spend time with friends and family.
